OUR MINISTRIES

About Ministries at Calvary

When Jesus ascended to sit at the right hand of the Father, He gave gifts "for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God." Earlier in this reference, Paul reminded us in Ephesians 4:11 what those gifts are, Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher. Then in 1 Corinthians 12, Paul also mentions the gifts of Helps. These gifts are the foundation for ministries to flourish in our congregation. These Five Fold Gifts plus one are recognized as what most would refer to as Department Heads at Calvary.

Worship Ministries

Provides leadership in every worship gathering and includes prayer initiatives, intercessions, prophetic acts, decrees and proclamations.

Provides the overall main leadership for the church, spiritually, financially and in all the ways that make us visible to the community including development of property.
